Our first day walking! Under the threat of 11mm rain at 11am (it never happened) and one slightly dubious left knee, we set off for Mondsee. Mike climbed the castle ruins to get the view on the way whilst Lisbeth didn’t get a cup of coffee (too early). Lunch at a lakeside restaurant and on to the pensionate – then it rained! When it was dry again, we ventured back down to the town and lake but alles ist verboten so no swimming here.
