Following a visit to Dad, we took a couple of days in London, staying at the NYX Hotel in Holborn. On Tuesday we went for a long walk through Bloomsbury, Russel Square, Euston, Oxford Street, Berkely Square, Green Park, Westminster and the South Bank. In the evening we ate up in the Sky Garden (160m) and walked half the way home past the floodlit St. Pauls. Wednesday was very wet so we went to the Tate Modern. In the evening, we went to a London Philharmonic concert conducted by Karina Canellakis (Shostakovich Cello Concerto No 1 and Brahms 4).
